Undead Familiar

Post by Shrouded Wanderer »

What do people think about adding an Undead familiar to the caster classes?

Id think if it capped out at a level equal to the frost wight/Mummy warrior level it would be fairly balanced.

Undead have multiple very amusing immunities, so probably not a good idea, unless it has no battle capability.

Skeleton would be fantastic. Being able to use it as a servant would be fantastic. Wandering about

Unless it has changed.

Familiars on Arelith are capped to level 1 or so, with no progression. By all means add an Undead familiar, but it won't progress in levels.

Which is fine.

They're not capped in any way.

Wizard's panther, for example, progresses and gains more sneak attacks and is very battle ready.
