Hello,
I have a level 8 Wizard. When I am on the surface server none of my spells will work. It goes through the animation, says it is casting the spell and then says the spell is cast, as per normal. But, there is no effect.
I go to the Cities server and I have no issues.
Have tested with summon creature IV, buffing spells like bulls strength and area of effect spells like grease.
Hope this helps!

Re: Spells not working on Surface
After further review, it seems to only effect me when going into the swamps from the cordor farm lands. Maybe that transition?
Re: Spells not working on Surface
Are you sure that you have uses left for that spellslot after you transition?
If you've been on the 'new' server since it reset last, then your spell availability will revert to whatever you had previously instead of what you had on the server you came from.
Because that sounds very convoluted to me I'll give an example:
- My bard is on Surface. She has cast some spells so now she only has one level 3 spell left that she can cast.
- She transfers to Cordor/Planes. She spends some time there, even rests. All her spellslots are now restored to full.
- But now she transfers BACK to the Surface server and once again, she only has one level 3 spell available to cast.
