Recently, someone I know had a large hit of depression and deleted a lot of their characters because of it.
Perhaps there's some wisdom in putting some sort of delay on delete, like after you type it once, the game forces you to wait 3 real-life days, then prompts you to type it a second time to complete to prevent hasty decisions.

Having to type it twice should give enough time to pause and think.
