Those epic spells check for being epic divine caster (divine caster level 17/18). If your divine casting class level lower than those numbers, then it is normal for you to be not counted as divine caster.
Zaphiel wrote: Mon Aug 17, 2020 4:24 pm It is not special to loremaster. Those epic spells requires to be epic divine caster for use piety. Feel free to give feedback about it since it is not something I have added nor I have idea why it is implemented in this way.

Re: Paladin+Loremaster Trick of Warding
Apologies if I'm missing something here, but that doesn't make sense and contradicts how the divine classes currently function, since non-epic spells also cost piety (level 6 spells and above cost piety).
Hybrid divine classes (ranger, paladin) don't get level 6 spells, however shouldn't they still be falling into the same bucket as to the source of their powers? Study and dedication of the rituals and blessings from their diety rather than suddenly being arcane?

It's just the way it's coded and not a bug. Will it get changed? Who knows, but unlikely to any time soon.
