Ornate Jewelry Box bugged

I had an ornate jewelry box which during traveling broke, the weight suddenly surged and after I sold it's contents the weight had returned to normal but I was still unable to place any jewelry within it as it was still considered full. I asked DM Wraith (I think it was) for a replacement, but the new ornate jewelry box did not work either, and I was asked to make a post on the bug forum. According to wraith the ornate jewelry boxes didn't activate anymore?

From what I gathered from the DM no ornate jewelry boxes was functioning. I was given an enchanted box instead of a new broken ornate jewelry box, so I am not really sure what was wrong.

I am realizing I am having this issue or a similar one as well.

My character Jacen Laird has a regular ornate jewelry box, one of the new ones, which he bought before the fix went into place. The conversation with the NPC now works, so that he can sell the contents.

The problem is that the weight which he had when the fix went in continues to return to that point. So a nearly empty jewelry box weight 62-67 pounds.

I take it this is something to simply holler at a DM about to get fixed? I suspect this bug only affects those boxes which were in circulation and had items inside them when the fix went into place.

We are looking into this! It seems that bookbags are having a similar problem. Thank you for your patience.

I can not replicate this issue either DM or Player side.

For the moment, my solution is to ask a DM to replace your bugged container with a new one, and let us know if it happens again so that we can try to debug the item while it is in your inventory.

Other devs are telling me that weight has always been a rather fickle thing because; NWN.
