Re: 5% Dreams - Answer Individually
I would ask to be a Vhaerath. A unique form of petitioner that is the soul of a deceased mortal that petitions their deity to return them to the prime material in order to further serve the will of that deity. Unlike other petitioners (which lose all of their memories from life, many of the skills they acquired there, and all of their innate magical abilities from their former mortal race), the petitioners of the Drow god Vhaeraun would return as "Vhaeraths" which retained all their memories, all their skills, all their Drow powers, and additionally: "They also had some added abilities in stealth from Vhaeraun. They were good at hiding and sneaking, and their abilities to hide increased when they were in shadow."
The RP of being a Drow returned from death to continue being the material servant of my favorite FR deity really appeals to me.

Re: 5% Dreams - Answer Individually
I've been having a lot of fun with my Rakshasa - even when known, I can usually get by alright in most settlements and have "friends" across the entire isle. As someone who plays during off-peak hours, it's fantastic as I can actually reliably find people to RP with.
That said, they suffer from a lack of consistent identity and a lot of the work you put into plots and stories usually goes unnoticed.
To that end, I'd probably want to play a Prismatic Dragon, per:
"Prismatic dragons were outspoken and dramatic creatures. Unlike force dragons, these dragons enjoyed the company of humanoids."
Somewhat disinterested in good and evil, but rather individuals and their goals/agendas- with a singular identity and not being unintentionally ominous every step of the way. An innate curiosity for those unlike themselves. It seems like an immensely fun and engaging way to create stories and connections without being ambiguously evil like a Rakshasa.

As for a class, how about Death Knight or a Revenant assassin.

Non-Evil assassin.
Because adventurers already kill things for gold, killing people for gold (especially evil people, such as in andunor) isn't really all that bad.

Myconid for a good intelligent plant PC oppurtunity to RP. Also to laugh if they contract lycanthropy.

Photo journalist mode. An invisible blob that can interact with no one and nothing, but can go everywhere and see everything. No powers, nothing.
Just a floating, wandering eye, so that I can take screenshots forever.

I'll join the Hag train!
HAG, so I can go HUE HUE HUE.
Also Sentient Undead in general would be fun.

This too shall pass.
(I now have a DM Discord (I hope) It's DM GrumpyCat#7185 but please keep in mind I'm very busy IRL so I can't promise how quick I'll get back to you.)

Having been a forum mod ages ago taught me all I needed to know about that.
I just wanna be a fly on the wall. On all of the walls. And on the dragon's head. And on the banites' shoulders. And on the drow torture rack. And on Minmir lake.

Getting a bonus feat that is not normally possible due to skill, race, class, or alignment restrictions, and/or removing restrictions on feats. Example, removing the spell level requirement so that a Paladin, Ranger, Bard, etc. could take epic feats like Gate or Auto Quicken.

Major-gift - Alienist. A character class that has obscene and horrific powers from the Far Realms, similar to an arcane caster but so much more horrifying. Chaotic required, has to be at least moderately insane, and should be powerful. People should see the alienist and go "oh god, this is BAD."
I want to see way more horrific, lovecraftian, genuinely unsettling Far Realms stuff on Arelith. I see basically none. I want to see some and when it shows up, I want it to be a herald of awfulness.

Re: 5% Dreams - Answer Individually
While a starpact warlock would be awesome stuff I firmly believe the concept you have is entirely doable without a special class so you should just go for it. Just pick a class you think fits the best.
Much of the Lovecraftian horror comes from how unkown it is. It is implied, it is a looming shadow of danger and spiraling descent into madness. Only time it needs to actually show is a major event, and that can be done with DM help. It's a "Less is more" type of deal if it makes sense.
Also I know even right now there are far realm themed stuff going on.
Not to derail the topic: A golem/robot that has gained sentience.

Playing:
-as a 'Living Armor' spell blade that serves a caster of some form.
or
- as a Reverent undead sent back to aid the living in a purpose outlined by DM's as it's mission
-Finesseable Bastard Swords, Pikes [2d6 Crit 20 x3 +1d6 dmg when guarded]

Re: 5% Dreams - Answer Individually
My first reaction was to say "I want to play an illithid!" but then I realized without any sort of backup that playing a mind-flayer would be a horrible nightmare because I couldn't sell anywhere, talk to anyone, or do anything except get pvp camped.
So I'm going to say I want to play a dragon. A young one is OK, doesn't have to be huge.
Playing an intelligent golem or warforged would be awesome but I don't think there is lore to support it.
