Taking a look at this.

The bardic song should guarantee 1 extra ore.

However, it seems Loremaster bonuses were only applying on the last hit.
Should have a fix in the works soon.

I see the fix to the Secret of Gathering was added prior to the latest resets, but I'm not getting a message in the log about the feat applying at all now. Does this sound correct?

Is the song also being looked at to your knowledge?

It should be giving feedback in conjunction with mining tools. Which may be the issue as it is looking for the same variable to avoid spam on every hit.
I can adjust it to give some personalised feedback, which now that I think on it, I should have done without needing a reminder!

While a block of text feedback for abilities is important, and since this only gets printed at the first instance of damage I don't think it's too offensive.
What are the chances someone is playing an Earth Genasi, Bard, Loremaster with a pickaxe, eh?

Gift of gathering or secret knowledge still appears bugged? It’s a fixed value of one bonus resource. Tested with 900 lumps of coal- took exactly 25 circles of the four coal deposits in the cordor coal mines. You’d think at least once I would have gotten 10 or 8…

Coal will already cap out on max if you use the tool and various modifers.
In this case it's a minimum amount increase, not max.

Obviously the higher the value the ore the more valuable this is!

Ahhh ok thank you I didn’t realize there was a hard cap to the amount of resources that could be gained from a node.
