Spells visual effects have disappeared

Hi all,
Just that, whenever I cast a tentacles' spell, nothing appears (it's there, I walked in it), when I cast an epic mage armor, no more blue lights circling, in fact about any visual item related to a spell being cast is gone.
I did a clean reinstall of it all, game + nwsync, to no avail, still the same, a big nothing. Just happened a few days back after some nwsync reshuffling.

Would anyone have a suggestion ? I'll send mental hugs to whoever can help there

Did you update your graphics driver? If so, roll back. It’s a graphics driver update issue.

So I just rolled back from GeForce 516.40 (15/06/2022) to the previous 472.12 (20/09/2021) and everything is back to working normal.

(I would have thought more people would have get impacted though, I can't be the sole man in the world updating drivers)
