It seems odd that Magical damage is mostly reserved only for certain caster classes (warlocks and mages come to mind), and now more than ever the mundanes could use this.
The suggestion is this: Add Magical damage essence to the crafting options for Alchemists in the form of temporary and permanent essence.
The recipe could be made difficult (perhaps crafted with one of the rarer gemstones, like a Beljuril, for example) and the DC upped higher than the other essences, if the balance team sees need for that.
Allowing mundanes to add magical damage to their weapons in this way will bring their overall power up a bit.
