For awhile the refresh mechanic for cantrips cast from spellbooks has been a bit imperfect. It's mostly reliable but every so often for whatever reason it fails and leaves the spell expended until the character can rest. The work-around to this is doubling up on prepared cantrips since the failure rate isn't overly common (mostly it's noticeable in PvE where cantrips might be spammed frequently) but this solution also effectively halves the number of available cantrips if the character is a slot preparation caster. Some sort of -command or unlimited use ability akin to Spell Clutch but for 0 level spells would be extremely useful for working around this problem.
