Can we get some Javelins? A medium sized throwing weapon.
fills the niche of ranged weapons for humans.
I'd imagine it would be as simple as extending the handle of a dart.
Make it a cavalier weapon. How cool would a horseback skirmisher be?

I like the idea, and did think about this myself.
Other contributors may know better than I here, but my main concerns are:
Animations (especially darts as the base) might look a bit odd, and when running how will the animation move.
