With the death and memory rules, I'm really curious to know what actually happens or what I am allowed to know when you scry someone who is in the Fugue. Are you allowed to know it's the Fugue and that they're dead? Are you allowed to remember it or recognise it? What does your own character experience when they scry someone there?

I don't think that's mechanically supposed to happen, so I wouldn't RP around it.
Will sanity check the script anyway, just to make sure.

Not sure what the ruling is- but whenever I had my diviner scry someone in the fugue, they would say 'I saw them, but I don't know where they are except that it felt off.'
Basically no indication as to location given none of our characters would know what the Fugue look like.
I haven't seen anything in the rules regarding this one, maybe something can be added for clarification?

I think in all honesty, this is one of those situations that's besed fixed by having the Fugue be none-scryable, rather than a rule sitaution. AT most perahaps, if someone is in the fugue, the scriar could get a message saying that they're dead? (That'd be really cool as a check for epic div + epic Necro actually...)

I would love that yes. That you can sense someone's spirit isn't in their body or something as a diviner. But it would totally make sense to have the Fugue be a non scry area

Death area had been made unscryable long time ago.
It's clearly either a bug or something's broken.
There are other weird situations that can happen - like scrying somebody who's in the _House

I just thought it would be cool if someone wanted to RP a seance. I could see a player leaving their character dead and someone with Divination could communicate with the dead. Just short sentences like thieves talk.

Not that I know of. You just couldn't scry people in the death area anymore one day (which was good, because back then there was also a bug that would occassionally teleport the diviner to their scrying target and in instances where this happened in the death area they had to bite the respawn).
Anyway (and correct me if I get the following part wrong) we DO have an actual rule that says characters must forget everything that happens in the fugue/death area, don't we?

Yes, which implies that this goes for the person who died, not necessarily the scrier. But it was already said that you're not supposed to be able to scry people in the Fugue, so the point is moot. It would then more just be a bug considering I was able to scry someone in the Fugue.

There could be a LOT of reasons for not being able to reach someone. A character capable of scrying should probably know this, so an explanation that is an easy go-to might be “I can’t reach them right now.” It’s also ok not to know why. Could be dead, could be warded, could be in a lead-lined room, could be interference, the spell could fail, etc
Try harder! Help set a good example of roleplay for the server culture.

Weird follow up question...I once managed to scry myself on Sil'avesi. How do react to that? I just reacted as it being something extremely odd and something you rather not talk about because its such a odd and f'ed up thing to happen.

React however your character would react. This might not be such a big deal for most, but I’m sure vampires would have a unique and greatly varied reaction as they’re finally able to perceive themselves (no mirrors!).

I just want to point out that there's a distinction between remembering that your character went to the Fugue and getting a glimpse into the Fugue by scrying someone there. That alone doesn't automatically mean it should be possible to see into the Fugue, but it doesn't contradict the rules regarding remembering one's death.
