Wooden Coffin Recipe

Post by Tathkar Eisgrim »

Whilst there appears to be a stone sarcophagus recipe there appears to be a lack of a corresponding wooden coffin recipe.

Roleplay Significance:

Historically speaking, wooden caskets are cheaper than stone making them more attainable to the common people. Stone burials are more representative of noble / VIP burials. They survive from antiquity where wood does not.

The availability of wooden caskets to the everyday populace is important. It allows non-nobility to respect their dead.

Wooden coffins could offer a portable means of transport for vampire NPC's / PC's. Wooden coffins could serve as phylactery locatons for vampires.

There are now wooden coffins I believe. This is complete.

This too shall pass.

(I now have a DM Discord (I hope) It's DM GrumpyCat#7185 but please keep in mind I'm very busy IRL so I can't promise how quick I'll get back to you.)
