Radiant Heart Issue: Regards Deep Imaskari as undesireables.

Post by magick in theory and practice »

Doesn't seem like it'd be something the prelate would know exists and DI are Humans who have free will. It also outs people and has some gnarly text that comes off very badly. Nothing inherently monstrous about them.

Probably just a not intended thing / or old script check. But I thought it'd report.

i think this is because the system knows they count as underdarkers as part of having access to underdark portals

it probably just needs an exception added for deep imaskari

To my knowledge that's working as intended.

They also can't become Pirates. They call you an 'actual monster'.

I would assume it does more with an OOC tag on characters rather than IC knowledge. As noted that nothing makes them look more than tall humans. What separates them from any other human? Like deep gnome they live in the UD and not banned on the surface. With this being a RP server is there a rationale for it?

Do the pirates have a human test which all the Deep Imaskari fail?

It just seems like an oopsie to me because DI don't look remarkably different than other humans and if they got mistaken for anything it'd be some kind of plane touched. Which are not restricted in any way, typically, beyond outcast status.
