Splitting the Server to Improve Playability

The recent surge in players has been incredible, with peak times now exceeding 300 players, even on weekdays. This growth is fantastic for the server, but it’s also causing significant strain, particularly on the surface server. When surface numbers climb above 90 players, performance takes a major hit, making the game nearly unplayable for many.

To address this, I suggest splitting the server by moving all sailing-related content, ships, islands, Sencliff, and all docks/ports—onto a separate server. This would help balance the load while keeping maritime activities intact as a cohesive experience.

I’m sure there are logistical challenges to consider, but something needs to be done to maintain a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
