As of the past few months, Skal's poison traps (Traps set randomly throughout the server within dungeons and on chests) have been extremely punishing for anyone who can't see them or even attempt to avoid them, and this include traps laid on the ground (Commonly in places such as the Boogin caves on Skalfel) where they blend in just beneath the floor or along the wall.
I'm not sure what has changed about them, but a lot of times these traps for an instant fugue plane, so quick that you won't even see what happened to you in the combat log. It rolls your Con to 3 and then the damage finishes you off. These traps are found anywhere between the village and up in the mountains. The fortitude on all of the ones I have seen so far has been 20, which is quite high for a place like Skal.
