Upvotes for suggestions

We will file suggestions here that did not make the cut. Don't expect detailed responses, but the most common reasons are:

  • implementing the suggestion is impractical, or too much work for the gain
  • the suggestion is thematically against our design philosophy
  • the suggestion is too detailed/low-level
    Keep your suggestions broad and focused on benefits.

I don't know if it's possible but it would be neat if people could upvote a suggestion on the forums which would show the admin/dev team how popular a suggestion is and what their community is looking for in the server. It might also help to prioritize changes and allow trend analysis.

I do like this idea but unfortunately with the forum software we user there are no extensions available to facilitate this. There are some ideas being mulled around with but nothing that can fit yet, unfortunately. I have been looking at other software that we could use for the suggestion purpose as well but haven't found a cheap or free option that meets all our needs!
