Offhand weapons inherit mainhand Cane's properties

Post by Ajinai »

Description of Bug Experienced:
Was planning on using cane combined with parry as a way to get some extra ac on my quarterstaff SS but when I tried out Swordbreaker to see if I could dual wield with it to get the half parry bonus the engine goes a bit haywire. Any properties on my cane gets inherited onto the swordbreaker.

Steps to reproduce the Bug:
Equip a cane. Equip another weapon on the offhand.

Expected Result:
Cane has its own properties and the offhand has its own properties.

Actual Result:
Offhand inherits all the damage properties of the cane. In my case as a SS this means a bunch of elemental properties.
Offhand also keeps all of its own properties. Meaning any damage properties/keen on it gets added on top of the mainhand's properties.

Additional Information/Notes
Screenshot example is a cane with 2x1d4 enchants, essence and magic imbue. Offhand is swordbreaker with keen enchantment and negative imbue.
I am getting half parry AC
Using only the cane gives me full parry AC but also dual-wield AB bonus
