I know cloth can repair ships, but is it possible to repair ships using leather as well?

Re: Repairing Ships
Timber ships are repaired with EITHER cloth (by a tailor) or wood (by a carpenter)
Ironside ships are repaired with metal (by a smith)
Diving bells on both types of ship are repaired with metal (by a smith)
Note that skill with sailing is required for this, and it is DC 25 in the relevant craft skill to repair, DC 45 to do a masterly repair (restores double the HP)

Hm... you can't repair with Leather. Simply not possible at all.
And, the DC check is 35. Masterly 55.

Re: Repairing Ships
I am glad I asked.
I thought it was 10 (basic repair)
Was told it was 20 (basic)
Might be 25 - 35 (basic)
Not really wanting to go into being carpenter but looks as if that may be the route needed. Thank you for the assist.
I was hoping I could turn leather into cloth for tailoring. Finding cotton is a pain.
