The Blood and Sand Tournament

Post by Tashalar »

Thankyou SO MUCH to everyone that attended, we peaked at 29/30 people, and there was hardly any lag! Fights went off smoothly, and I owe a great deal of thanks and appreciation to the following:

Sol Eztise - A fantastic administrator, she organised this really really well, much better than I ever would've on my own, with webpages and everything! I really enjoy roleplaying with her, and I hope to work alongside her for many more tourneys to come!

Penerith Silaya - Chef and Resident Healer, Pen is a lovely little shuhadaku-g'estug with a healthy fear of... everything!

Crinukh - my favourite Kobold Bard, Crinukh was a wonderful compere and kept on top of everything admirably. Not even ruffled by disturbances, and commentating werewolf fights! His witty quips and snarky commentary is always entertaining.

Rosenkranz Ezekiel - Second Sponsor, and good help to have at your side if you can't be on-hand to face everything yourself.

And last but certainly not least, our participants and spectators! I am so happy you all turned up, and hope you had a good time. It was so much fun, and I look forward to the next one!

Gah, sorry for missing its guys! RL decided to take a crap on me yesterday, I couldn't make it. Dulcie will definitely be doing a write up, I'll track down as many interviews as possible.

As the theme of many around/in the Arena during the event - CONSEQUENCES. Azu was just happy to have shut him up (for a bit) with the gonne shot

Don't worry, we'll be having more over the months ahead, I think!

It was a very enjoyable event with a lot of excellent roleplay on display from all sides. It really let me see a diverse blend of characters dealing with one another. The fighting matches were mostly balanced with some close matchups. Ixy wins for really playing up being feared.

Tashalar, I and by extension the terrified Pen are game for more and more Sibayed tourneys. I am very happy you were able to make it for the whole event. I read you have a lot going on.

But kudos to Sol for doing the organizational legwork to make it happen. They are enjoyable to interact with and contribute greatly. Three cheers for Sol.

Crinukh has to announce from now on.

...would that be the same as forcing people to do the dual with only first level spells and their fists? I would watch this.

All mages have to be naked and grease spells shall be applied to the arena frequently.

Seriously though super kudos to Sol for the event planning, they really went above and beyond and I was glad to help out in the minor manner that I did.
People who put in so much effort to an even really should get all the support they need to thrive, we need more of them.
