Adventuring Update

Post by Yorick Shadowfeather »

Holy crap.

Just. Wow.

We needed this so bad- Thank you very very much!

Both sections of this recent update are absolutely amazing. I've only been playing for 5 or so minutes- and I'm already overjoyed to see each new thing. It's added a lot to both immersion and balancing; We even saw a buff to Kensai!

Three cheers for the Devs! (and chocolate cookies are in order I suppose :P)

This was something that we were VERY excited about, its a real change to how Arelith works.

Established players will find they're getting a lot, as the server will think that they're discovering areas for the very first time, but that will die down after a while, and new players will see it in its full effect.

Wonderful stuff.

When I saw the update to Orogs, I got emotional and teary eyed.

Then I saw this, and cried manly tears.

I'm really digging how much this promotes people making new characters and eases the leveling process for them. Really smart update. Wow.

The adventuring XP update was brilliantly imagined and elegantly implemented. It really is a wonderful addition. Bravo.

Love the concept and the implementation.

You made it much, much, much easier to level, whilst not making it *zap* --> level up

Also: I can see myself building up a pool, then going to roleplay, letting the xp tick in, then going out and building it up again.
- The need to utter the words "I'm not stupid" implies the opposite.
How do i know? Well, obviously because I'm not stupid.

I'm in love with this update. I want to write it sonnets and take it out onto a pond with a rowboat and gently recite them under sunbeam-dappled foliage.

This a really good update for the whole Arelith and opens up alot of possible modification to it at the same time.

I really like it it's very well thought off. Not only rewards the players for their work done in promoting RP by tying the xp gains with RPR rating but also promotes active RP in many other aspects which are normally hard to pull off (adventuring RP, exploration RP, Lore RP... etc etc).

Very good one!
