Yesterday's Talassian invasion and counter attack was a blast. Hours of endless frustration and spamming healing kits and switching between expertise, improved expertise and not-so-expertise mode while climbing up a mountain, cutting through endless waves of cultists and then performing a pincer move on them before wrapping it up with an amazing final battle against the aspect of a god!
Thanks for giving Guldorand a big show.

Re: DM Wish
I was about to start my own thread on this, because this is definitely worthy of a kudos to DM Wish. What started out as a seemingly random event quickly became a heroic struggle for victory, and it was far more sophisticated than what met the eye. The Talassians displayed all sorts of different emotions in reaction to our onslaught and when there were no more left to kill, they panicked even further. It was truly an opportunity to be heroic and actually fight like a warrior.
In addition, I'd like to thank DM Wish for giving us the opportunity to affect things that we were desperately trying to affect. This is exactly the sort of thing that we needed, and I'm so glad that somebody was watching us.
10/10, would event again, thank you so much.

Re: DM Wish
I missed it, but Wish is awesome. I heard all about the event from several other PCs.

Re: DM Wish
I was very impressed with how everyone pulled together and the unity you've all shown with the Guldorands; within the event itself you all played key roles from scouting out dangers to pure slaughter and even as far as counterspelling poor innocent Talassian mages just trying to Dimension Door away!
Keep up the good work folks and remember hell hath no fury like a god of fury scorned.
