Vindel Departs for Darker Shores

Hello all,

Never been one to spend much time on the forum but aim to get better!

About a month ago I rolled Vindel Elg'Carin, my longtime steady toon. He decided to journey deep into Baator, weary of the political clime in Andunor, to seek out Asmodeus and serve him...

Just wanted to thank all of you who played such a special role in his development, and shared some good times together.

-Taly: You built him! He served your house longest and realized foundational growing points within.. from pupil of Strythio to house weapons master. It was a great journey. Thanks for always being there for the UD too, when I and others would take breaks you held it together.

-Mebrith: Thanks for always being Vins special pal. Always enjoyed our interactions and adventures. I was very sad to see her go!

-Rith Elg'Carin: Vindel's first love! If we hadn't both been called off the game nothing would have changed. Really miss the RP. Creating Elg'Carin with Rith was such an experience (he never changed his name). I won't forget it.

-Zestra: His final lady in command. Really enjoyed the RP with you. Zest truly was a political player who knew how to get what she wanted done in Andunor. Very pleased to have served for a time.

-Wicket: Where did you get to oh dark bird... miss you.

-Strythio: Quel'saruk... I will miss our conversations and your motivation. Thanks for teaching Vindel the way of the blade.

-Asb'el: It was just them two toward the end. Very much enjoyed their close interaction, he couldn't have asked for a better wife and partner (the social rebukes they got always stayed to a minimum... it was a great match) It was sad to go, (still is) but it was his time.

-To all the rest: I have a horrible recall, but greatly enjoyed all of the UD RP for several RL years. It was a great break from the Baron of Cordor RP I was used to of old, and introduced me to a beautiful, dark community. I wish you all the best and hopefully run into you on Azrael!

Ah, Vindel. Asb'el still regards him as a great partner and missed him a suspicious lot more than a prissy mean girl forced into arranged marriage (with a drow!) should have. Right back at you, as the magnificent Rebel Rebel of Andunor shook politics and outraged the IG community for quite a while. I still remember with a certain amusement how the whole matter shifted from "let's kneecap people who owe money to the district" to clinking glasses of bloodwine and playing sava.

I am however -very- glad to see you play a 5%. What little interaction I've had with Azrael was extremely interesting, and it seems he is making quite a name for himself.
