I'll try to refrain from handing out information OOC'ly as I try to explain why it was so awesome.
I think it all began with a bunch of wannabe-paladins excited to do some battling in the name of good. Heck, even Benwick was involved! I honestly think we were all excited both IC'ly and OOC'ly! So down we went into the pit fight for the greater good...
HOW WRONG WE WERE! And you know... looking back it was one of those things you can't believe we fell for! It was all there!
But Daltanius was so pumped up, he was ready. He could take anything thrown at him. His character was circling inside anxious, ready to take on the HOARD (ROFL) blindfolded!
As soon as those poor slaves started to be poured into the pit and Daltanius started to unknowingly bashing them... I was completely lost! That was absolutely evil and genius of GrumpyCat.... And mind you, there were a TON of slave bodies by the end of it... That was a show of gore and horror...
There was a goblin and a hobgoblin bashing on the bars and screaming for blood. And a svirfneblin asking for the bodies! Those guys did an amazing job! Sorry I missed your names cause you really heightened up the atmosphere!
So Kudos to GrumpyCat for that REALLY fun, small-scale event!
To Azrael because he is one of those really cool guys that is always solid IC and always ready to include people into events and storylines. Definitely need more guys like him around!
And of course, to Daltanius. I felt so sorry for his character and at the end of it all he -chose- to lose his paladin powers... Which was the most respectable decision he could take after such a gruesome work.
This was hands down the best event I've participated so far!
