Just wondering if we're able to get more information on this. Question spam below:Irongon wrote:Game of Darts!
A new game has been added to Arelith, and is worth special mention. This is a heavily programmed mini-game that provides a full emulator of a working dartboard. A number of factors, including practice contribute to a player's skill, and IS NOT based off the combat attack bonus of the character.
The numbers on the board are 'known' to the engine, so aiming for any number will increase the chance of hitting adjacent numbers on any miss, and the chance of a 'Bouncer' is increased when targeting areas where the wire frame is more closely knit.
If it's not based on AB, is there any bonus from a +1 dart?
Is dexterity score taken into account?
Are various bonuses, such as weapon focus dart, taken into account?
Would spells like bless or true strike help?
Is it based on a hidden d20 roll, or another base?
Do the odds of hitting/bouncing/missing/dropping change based on practice level?
How many levels of practice are there?
Do these go down over time?
Do they go up based on hitting a desired target, or just hitting the board in general?
Is it similar to an experience system where say you hit the target 5 times to go up, then 20, then 100, etc?
Is this an Arelith original, or appropriated content?
(I'll just add that this is an amazing game to play, really fun!)
