There was a spontaneous sail to the Bastille. I brough some friends, one who is slightly lower than epic and one who is in the latter half of epics.
I had heard in-game that it was bad, but I felt it would be worth trying out. Some of the smaller buildings have a decent bit of treasure in them. But my god, every single spawn is half mages who spam horrid wilting. I am playing a high AC Abjuration wizard which I understand is definitely more PVP than PVE focused, but my goodness, the Mages spawn with spell mantles, and the whole pack spawns with Mind Blank, so no softening CC on the less dangerous mobs to hyper focus the warded-up mages. I was throwing my signature dispels at the mages because logically I would want to minimize the amount of Horrid Wilting throne, but my first several signature dispels did nothing. There was one I nabbed Shadow Shield and a different buff from, but never the mantles so I could actually land any damn spells.
I haaaaaaate consumable-focused gameplay clearing so I am biased, but goodness does it feel like this game was meant for things like Abjurer Wizard to get spammable 1 breaches or something, because it's just a silly design.
EDIT:
Backtracking when it comes to these is the worst. The Formian dungeon in the Underdark is particularly egregious: You're backtracking and triggering double or even triple spawns. I remember doing it the intended/completionist way, and the BUFFS THAT LET YOU BREACH THE QUEEN'S MAGICAL IMMUNITY WOULD WEAR OFF BEFORE WE GET TO THE QUEEN.
