Fine Silk Shirt and Enchanted Fine Silk Shirt, they both have a bonus to tumble.... for the end game tailoring armor, you'd think it would have something actually useful at end game, seeing as tumble on gear doesn't count towards the AC, and above 15 skill does nothing for you

People complaining on the forum about other people not being willing to rp with them due to whatever reason that I am withholding. Then approaching said individuals without informing them that I am me (Meaning it's not a character that they know I play) in an attempt to RP only to have them suddenly run off. Without a word.

People who think would've and should've are contractions for would of and should of, and then have the gall to argue with me. Morons.

It's would HAVE. Should HAVE. Not would of. Not Snuggle a Bugbear should of. Learn what "of" means, you grammatical failures at life.

It's because the English language has so many "origins". It's a mongrel language, from years of being smacked around by so many different cultures. It's effectively a tree with 6 or more trunks, which would be very confusing to look at. However, it does make sense. It's just not simple.

Mused is a word that deals with thought, and can mean that you are deep in thought, or lost in thought.

The be- part is an intensifier, meaning you are very lost in thought.

So when something is bemusing, it basically means it is so strange that it is difficult to comprehend. Kinda like the English language.

Yeah, you can thank the Greeks for this one. Yay etymology.

**EDIT** Just read the bottom meaning in that picture and facepalmed. Bonus points for popular usage actually changing the meaning of the word, when it isn't at all what the word was intended to be. So the parts that make up the word have no effect on what the word means. Effectively this means that society changes 1+1 to equal 5, because everybody thinks it is.

*Slow clap*

Then again, popular meaning, however hard it may crap on the logic of a language, is more or less what keeps changing it and defines what what it 'is', and not those of us that like it for what it is and like the technicality of it.

Just to point out how silly it is that the online dictionary is saying bemused and amused are the same thing:

Having a- in front of certain words changes the meaning to effectively mean the opposite thing. So if somebody is amoral, it means they are without morals. Asymmetrical means something is without symmetry.

So being amused is likely a state without deep thought. Distraction. Because who wants to think too hard about their comedy? Who likes not getting the joke?

So if bemused means the intensive, and amused means without...

How can bemused and amused mean the same thing?

Ladies and gents, the modern English language.

I mess around with fictional language construction, so this bothers me.

Popular meaning man. Words mean what they're used to mean. It hurts, but that's words for you.
