Should be King, not Kind.
Thieves' Den board has a typo.
The spell description for Extrusion does not mention the damage per level caps at CL25.
Palemaster Summon Greater Undead description still shows all the vanilla types of undead that it can summon.
Hey everyone, I'm performing necromancy to resuscitate this thread.
Right now, we have a ton of descriptions that are not up to date, requiring people to read the wiki or ask about them OOCly to get clarifications. I'd like to be able to get to work on fixing these, but we need your help.
If you see any descriptions in-game that don't match the functionality, or something that isn't clear enough, or perhaps doesn't match what the up-to-date wiki says, please drop them in here. Ideally, no one should really need to read the wiki to understand the game.
Thanks for the help!
This is pretty niche and I doubt more than a handful of people have ever looked at it ever but the shadow mastiff specifically in the crooked house quarter in Shadow Wharftown has a blank description
Current siege weapon descriptions do not say what size they are or what vessels they can be used on, and the vessels do not list which engines will fit. Making it impossible to know which will fit on which without trial and error.
Skills
Some skills on the Arelith server have changed a lot, so much that there is a specific Wiki page about them.
https://wiki.nwnarelith.com/Skill_changes
Some skills have been adjusted accordingly like Intimidate showing the workings of the intimidate usable skill.
But others have not had this treatment.
Search for example has been changed quite a bit. However, when clicked, it just shows the basic find traps and the detect model and it fails to inform the player about the chance of extra loot.
Perform only mentions its relation to bardsong. But not the Disguise or Mimic uses.
Bluff does not specify anything either.
Sail is of course one that is very generalized. But could easily be adjusted.
"Blurb that is in game now"
+
"While sailing, only the highest Sailskill of the characters on board is considered for the average Sail score. For a 3 crew ship, it will take the 3 highest skilled characters divided by 3 to give the Average Sail Skill. This Average Sail Skill is capped at 100 points."
(or something better worded)
Tumble does not state that it is not considered while riding a mount. (it does state this in the Riding Skill ofc. so might just be a choice.)
Anyway, hope this is what you meant as well.
(sorry for typos)
I have quite a few fixes submitted for some feats and almost all of the skills have been updated. Keep them coming, not doing these all at once to maintain my sanity, but it helps.
The description of tumble lacks the specific mention of "Hard" ranks and only mentions dex bonus does not apply leading to the false assumption that gear helps to provide AC tumble ranks.
hey, sorrowkitten, you missed:
also, bluff and perform break due to the "you have this much disguise skill" clicker option. better fix that.
edit: turn undead
zoo spells.
yes, i'm using this as my notepad. problem? i'll forget otherwise.
1.- Is there a detailed list somewhere with what was changed? I would like to double check if the wiki now is up to date, the spells are my main concern as their description where super outdated in-game.
2.- I did a bug report before this initiative, about Knight of Dragon Down here viewtopic.php?t=47827.
Can I get an answer if it is a bug or a wrong description?
Thanks!

i'm not making a detailed list of what i'm changing because i'm making a lot of changes. the tl;dr is i'm trying to update everything. i'd get more done if i didn't also include what descriptions i was updating in the changelogs, is why i haven't made a list.
that's a bug for Amnesy to address, not a description issue
A shame there is no list, hopefully people will start reporting if the wiki is missing something.
I just did a test to report a bug about monks and slings, and I realized most of their feats are incorrect.
As there is a rework pending, unsure if I should report them now or not... anyway:
For example (I didn't check every feat):
1) Flurry of blows: States it works with Kamas.
2) Defensive roll does not mention it is given to Monks on the feat description.
3) Improved Ki strike +4: Wrong Wisdom Requirement on the feat description, does not mention it gives bonus to monk weapons.
4) Monk AC bonus: Does not mention the AC does not work while armored or with a shield.
5) Improved Spell resistance states Diamond Soul as a requirement, but monks no longer get that feat.
6) Empty body does not states the cooldown.

?
Feat was removed in 12 Sep 2019 23:45
Diamond Soul feat removed. Instead, monks gain a scripted Spell Resistance effect starting at level 12. This Spell Resistance is equal to 10 + 1 per Class Level, capping at +32 at 22 Class Levels.
viewtopic.php?p=201751#p201751
The class no longer gets the feat, so the description should be updated to state the right requirement (I assume Monk level 12)
I haven't touch the monk wiki page, because the patch notes for monks are a mess between what is in live and what is in the PGCC.
So please don't use it as a source of official information.
While it's probably not that important, the Sprint ability's in-game description doesn't give you any information about what affects its uptime and speed modifier, and it might be neat to add that in.
Edit:
Yes I am aware the wiki has that information.
Knight's Inspire Courage ability does not list the Regeneration in its list of effects.
