I agree with Xarge in that situationally, there are reasons for two warlocks of different pacts to ally. But only if the characters both have something to gain, not because they're both warlocks. You know, like every other alliance between characters.
I also like the idea of more small guildhouses and quarters outside cities, for the advantages they can give to all sorts of oddball characters (again, not strictly warlocks).

Completely biased unproductive contribution: Personnally I would love for Irongron and crew to ship a lovecraftian themed area, no matter its purpose (dungeon, guildhouse, safe haven for warlocks, hidden surface tavern, etc). Not enough lovecraft on this server. And it can at least feed perfectly two pacts (star and fathomless).
