I made sprite art for my character...a friend is going to make a perler bead version of this for me! I will post a photograph when I have it ^_^

The style is based on Final Fantasy 6, because this friend of mine already made me a perler bead version of Terra from that game, so they will sit at my desk side-by-side.

Classy as hell. I particularly like the color version of Sephie, it's just nicely done.

Do one for Inu? :D

Here's a sketch for Inunatar. Need some suggestions, or maybe reference for improving it, please!

Aww, Inu looks too cute for his own good. <3 for making this.

I'd just suggest making the face a bit more angular, he's got a lean jaw. Also, a few scars on the right side of his face from his soldiering days. I love the getup though, really gets 'bard' across. :D

Additional points for depicting him with his weapons, either a looooongbow (almost as tall as he is) or twin rapiers.

Here's another shot at Inu!

And, some completely random, socially awkward, redheaded Saxon spearman.

I think I can justly claim to know this better than most.
But don't worry, it's charming in its own way.

Also, feel free to give feedback! I already know a few things I would do differently, but if I never posted a drawing until I was perfectly happy with it, this thread wouldn't exist

S'pretty good! If anything, I'd say just swap that gambeson there over to a shirt of scales, and make his hair a smidge messier. A man concerned with aesthetics, Owain is not.

Or showering. Or general cleanliness.

I'd say you've nailed inu now, Mets. Thanks for making the extra effort! If someone showed this to him irp he'd be their biggest fan boy for sure.

I took a shot at a painting of Inu, I need to do more of these. Thanks for the feedback on the last batch ^_^

You can't see it, but I am now a puddle on the floor.

Nicely done, all I'd say is that he looks a little too happy :P

AH, I just realized I have so many potential things for you to draw, so many. :S

No pressure though, I am sure it will come up in our interactions sometime.

Or trees apparently.

That aside, these drawings are awesome and you're awesome.

I should revisit it--I meant it to look like a shadow under the lip, see? But I think it's being interpreted as a wide open smile.

I don't know who you were before, did you have another name I would recognize besides Rattus-norvegicus99?
Commissar wrote:That aside, these drawings are awesome and you're awesome.
You're awesome! I have met 3 of your characters, and each time I'm totally surprised when I realize it's you!

Okay, lots of character art coming--But none of it is Arelith today! :o
I started DM'ing a tabletop game and these are the characters in the party that we have so far.
I am running 5th edition, Princes of the Apocalypse--we just had 1 session so far, but it was very fun. Only 3 came the first game, but we're going to have 5 next time (This Tuesday). I will keep sharing art I do related to our campaign as we go.

Zanice - Harper Bard Half-elf
Image

Krom - Goliath Barbarian
Image

Our Halfling Criminal Rogue
Image

Alutina the Sly, Druid of the Land-- I drew her as a halfling, and just realized her sheet says she's a forest gnome XD
Image

Pell - Human Fighter, but mostly a chicken farmer. This character was a commoner NPC in the source book, but I thought it would be fun to make her awesome and have her follow the party around from time to time, so she's kind of my character in the campaign.
Image

(5th character I don't have info from the player yet, we just had three players the first meeting)

EDIT
Another view of Sephie I drew today

Sharo is missing one ear (can't remember which one) and has a couple big ol' nasty scars. Too pretty!

Afraid this one is a bit off metz. I know you like cute, but sharo is more Ramirez from starship troopers cute the anything else. It's a fun exercise to try something that's both cute and dangerous.

I will have another go at it, I was just...uh...seeing if anyone was paying attention! Yeah!

Here's Zankas:

(I got this one all wrong too, didn't I? Needs more Metallica attitude or something???)

Wow! I missed so many updates to this thread, and it's a real treat to jump in and see all the wonderful characters. Tamen, in particular, looks just as I imagined him. You can almost see the snark.

I'm super flattered to see Sharo making an appearance as well! As the other folks said, I tend to imagine her a little rougher than that - she's missing one ear at the lobe, sports a few nasty scars on her face, and her equipment tends to be blunt and practical rather than beautiful - she's been fighting for the best part of half a century, after all! (No-one ever said she did it well...) The drawing; however, is awesome, and suits a few elves I've run across down to a T.

Zankas looks ideal. Him and his little cape.
