I'll add there is also another option for a guildhouse that falls under a settlement (like the new Red Tower). Here the settlement leaders are using the threat of eviction to pick who they want to own the guild hall.

So you see not everything is a matter of sign camping or random chance. Players still have some control over high value locations.

I believe the changes are a good thing and over time will prove thier value as more and more people get a chance to own property they never would have otherwise.

Let's just let it ride for a time and see how it goes.
