I agree with the logic, except that then we would need some script that prevents an entire party from using the same stones, which is more dev work.

Just about any build with even 3 important stats will get more than +2 uni from this because they wouldnt necessarily put uni on their items if instead of attributes, they could put singular save and +2 to two skills, for every attribute the skleen replaces. This is a lot. And of course as you said, for the really MAD builds (like my div swash) it is even more valuable than that.

Not to derail but what does MAD stand for?

Multiple Ability/Attribute Dependency - You need multiple ability scores to do well. Generally this removes CON from the equation as everyone "needs" CON. So for example a monk is more of a MAD class than a wizard as it needs DEX and WIS as opposed to just INT.
