What I personally find currently unfair is the weapon models added to colossal swords are based on weapons wielded by human-sized characters in other fictional material (there's a buster sword and gut's dragon slayer under colossal swords). So by virtue of that, those weapons are MORE than deserving to be used by those smaller races!
I don’t have strong personal feelings on this myself, but I do not think it’s fair to just call it a non-issue. One of the reasons someone might play Arelith vs another server is that Arelith tries to keep visual wackyness to a minimum.

It’s a common thread in how the server is managed.

ETA: Just to give an example. Someone I used to play with on Arelith moved to another server and send me a message and some screenshots on Discord saying "Hey you should try this server, you can do all sorts of cool stuff and the DMs will give you XYZ"

In the screenshots, everything and everyone had wings or was giant sized or people were riding winged glowing horses and stuff. This did NOT make me desire to play there. I like Arelith's visual style that is more toned down, personally.

If someone takes issue with people wielding oversized weapons only because the weapon scale just changed a mere week or so ago and the new weapons roughly the scale of the old ones were added, I question if they sincerely care or if it's a reactionary response to this change while the iron is still hot.

I also find the bias against physical feats of strength like giant weapons to be absurd in fantasy settings when things like magic already defy so much. Arelith much so given it's based on the systems that have the attributes for these things to begin with. Oversized weapons and monkey grip are official content that doesn't stress the already pretty thick suspension of disbelief the tabletop operates under.

I would like to have some of those weapon appearances available in a scaled down form, if anything else though. I really like how they look and wouldn't mind them shrunken down a bit as pieces in other weapons.

I second you on this, those appearances XD.
