I'm pleased to hear that taxes in Andunor's hub are working as originally intended. This is a good thing that encourages competition.

You lot act like you're entitled to a tax free, eviction free shop in literally the best location on the server. Its astounding how entitled you sound and how pissy you've gotten. 10% is make or break? Don't pretend those shops won't still move goods. You're paying a mere 3-4% higher than the average tax in an andunor district in a good year, up to 5% LESS still than a district in a bad year. Woe is you, however will your prime real estate shop ten feet from a lender ever compensate in sales for the loss? Get real.

If you don't like the taxes, sell your shop to someone else. There are literally dozens of merchants that would be HAPPY, to have one of the 7 hub shops, given the chance, even at double the new tax rate. You people are literally whining over the fact that suddenly you actually need to try, ever so slightly, in order to compete. Up until now you've been sitting in, unchallenged, the most utopian of mercantile positions; A maximum traffic, eviction free, tax haven.

Instead of complaining, you should be excited for what tangible taxes mean for the future. Did none of you read actionreplay's post? If the taxes(that should have been collected from the get go) accrue properly, they can be attributed to other projects. Things that promote RP, like the ability to bankroll guardlike factions, possible mechanical upgrades to the districts, etc etc etc.

The free lunch is over, but this is a net positive for everyone down the line.
