Okay, I thought that's what it meant but in over an hour of play I saw no extra gold so wasn't sure if they meant "hour in spent game".

Sorry if I am an idiot and not understanding, is this supposed to show up in your bank account every 20 minutes or---? Is it live? I know you can make a character with the new version of the gift now so I assumed it was?

FWIW this is a year+ old original gift of wealth character and I don't think they were getting deposits properly since the Arelith time change either. They did come in, but not reliably.

*Bump* because a week later and I still don't think Gift of Wealth is applying correctly. How often in real-life time should you see money added to the bank account? It's certainly not 20 minutes/1 IG hour.

I went and made a commoner, GoW. It gave me the 1500 for the first hour changeover as is intended.
I'm not sure what's up with your end.
It should start working again now as it just changed over to day 1, month 4.

To tack a question on to this instead of a new thread. I made a new GoW question and the money comes in but I am suspecting if you go AFK and miss one of your RPR ticks the counter for the GoW cash resets. Is that how it works?

It does not increment the money paid if you were afk during a tick, nor does it pay out.

Hope that clarifies the situation!

I think so, but I swear it does more than "skip a turn" if you go AFK for a bit (kids and work calls make me pause when playing pretty frequently).

I'll try and pay closer attention before bringing it up again but it seems to be paying reliably when I'm active and if I come and go the bank account deposits slowed down more than they should have (making me think the counter reset).

Anyway I am certainly not asking to pay out when players are AFK, just curious. Thank you.

If the counter was resetting you would be being paid more, not less.

Let me ask a different way then as I don't know the equation behind the scenes or how it's calculated.

I believe it comes once an IG day. Each IG day has multiple RPR ticks (I don't know offhand how many, suppose it doesn't matter). If you go AFK during one of those ticks does it cancel any payment for that IG day? This is what I think I'm experiencing with a stop and go playstyle.

Or does it not consider RPR ticks at all and just not pay if you happen to be AFK when the new day starts?

Once every 20 minutes you are paid:
  • 500 if below 21 levels.
  • 1000 if 21 or above.
  • If active. (Getting RPR ticks)

Your payout cap is:
  • Characters level * 1000.

You are paid a one time bonus of 20,000:
  • In 1000 gold amounts.
  • Over 20 payments.
  • Along with normal payments.

If your cap is reached:
  • No gold paid until you level up OR the month IG changes.
  • The bonus is not paid out.

Of note:
  • Leveling up adds 1000 to the cap.
  • Month changes set the amount paid out to 0 but will never give the bonus again once it is paid out.

I got it, thank you. Unless corrected I assume
If active. (Getting RPR ticks)
Means one missed tick in that 20 minutes cancels the payout, as is my experience. Bad for easily distracted me but I understand the necessity.

It's actually 2 ticks! So 10 of the 20 minutes. :)
