Boots has been a part of my RP for nearly the entire time Andy has been around but I really kicked up the story line last Sept.
I want to thank everyone who was involved in the course of the plot.
Buppi for being his emo self and spreading the rumors of what she isn't. That made the RP with others who had talked to him first really fun.
Shanna for trying to help even though she ran up against IC resistance. The low key hostile RP was awesome, IMO.
Roigrin for being an awesome friend and actually hearing out the being who had "stolen" her friends body.
Giogi for being awesome in general. No clue what was going on but was there for the entire confusing beginning of the arc. Always supportive.
Imran, oh Imran. Always willing to do whatever was needed of you. Thank you for providing a mage's view on the ideas Boots tossed at you.
Magpie. A late addition but one who was essential none the less. Your note triggered the end. I had been looking for a reason the end would happen and you made it perfect.
Red. Sweety. I can't say enough about you. You took Boots' RP to an entirely different area. You took a being who had no handle on emotions and showed her the spectrum. Friendship, happiness, the buddings of love, jealousy and loss. You treated her like a "real girl" and showed her that her choices were not in vain. Your handfasting was the counter point to the note for Andy. Boots knew it was a pipe dream and so it was easier to let go. As a player, it made me feel really good to find someone who was not in my normal friend circle who was interested and willing in tagging along on this trip.
Fin. You played a small role but it was probably the largest. You provided the divine touch to the story and answered a few questions that had been lingering for quite some time.
Dazza. Your ma isn't saving for college for you, she is saving for therapy. You have been through so much with Andy even before all of this. This arc really tested your mettle and character. It was amazing to watch you grow through this story. The self proclaimed independent hin had to rely and trust others with something that was precious to him. The ending was more than I could have hoped for.
The final scene:
Dazza, Red, Maggie, and Imran. As characters you all were awesome. You each took the situation in and played it out perfectly. As players, thank you soooo much for enduring that and suspending belief for the moment to allow a not-quite-cannon story line and event to finish up. The ending wasn't how I had wished but it leaves it open for if the stars ever align.
