Farewell Cookies from Lyssa <3
Posted: Tue Mar 07, 2017 10:42 pm
So, Lyssa is heading off into the sunset, at least for the time being, to Evereska and family with Berik and the Littles (hers and others). Because my RL is just so hectic, I don't feel it's right to keep things hanging on her, but she'll be here and there to visit!
There's a ton of you, and I may forget some, so...uh...sorry!
The Original OG Wizards
Chand, Tresmer, and Aldym. Nothing she had would exist without these three (and Kellarn, but he's not a wizard, so he gets his own). When they left she was incredibly sad, and bereft of friendships she considered very dear. However, she had memories, and learned so much. <3
The Explosive Dwarf
Kellarn Stonekegg. One of her fast friends, and someone she held very dear, until the day he passed. His death was a huge blow, and that hole will never fully be filled.
All the Circle members, past and present.
There's been so damn many. I can't name all of you. But every single person joining made her happy. Whether for a day, a year, or til the day she left, the prospect of things flourishing, people learning and growing, made her very happy. Thank you, all. <3
Kayla Vinen
Fellow Councilor, and best friend. Lyssa misses her Best Girl, and hopes to see her again, one day. She was always a voice of sense, moderation, and stubborn perseverence.
Eldwyn Leofricson
Like I said. Brother from another mother (or a much-favoured uncle?). Lyssa loves him, and will wish him nothing but the best going forward (and taunt him with his loathed title at any given opportunity.)
Shauna Flanagan
For much needed, honest, sensible if painful advice, a truly fun council race with no drama, and helping harness Girl Power for Stellen. <3
Shaeyl Arthbran
They may have fought, but Shaeyl was the sister Lyssa lost on coming here, just as Eldwyn the brother. Fire and ice, sometimes, but such is the way of women. The kidlets will be ready for Mama whenever she needs to pick them up!
Mirabelle!
Always a minute too late. We gotta work on this timing.
Buppi!
I almost forgot! <3 They fought, and they loved, and it was good. She'll miss his innocence and his fury when he gets going.
Gemina
Gone, but never forgotten.
Ghestaldt and Fini Blimth
The wisdom to lead, and the advice that Lyssa sorely needed, these two were some of her staunchest allies, and best friends. She will always hold a special place in her heart for them, and wishes them every possible happiness.
Red Highfen
One of those friends Lyssa was always afraid to inadvertently lose. She will miss the rough, grumbly, honourable hin, very much.
Maebyn Softstep
Lyssa's little shadow, for a time. She misses her sneak-friend.
Never got a good-bye!
Bok!
Because LEESA! <3
Ophelia and Celendil
The Ladies of the Circle. Always something to aspire to, especially Ophelia, and people she felt extremely blessed to watch grow, blossom, and prosper.
Malak
A friend, a counselor, a confidant. She valued him immensely, and will be saddened to leave that behind, but be assured that Lliira will hear alllll about him!
With every life, there are those who come in and leave good memories, those who leave bad, and those who leave some of both. "Adversaries", perhaps, or "enemies", or simply "friends who were, and then weren't." They still form and shape people, for better or worse, and are still important.
Marcus Demarin
Unquestionably the love of her life, disastrous though it was. He taught her how to love, and how to lose, and how to move on, and she's better for it.
Lucia and Morgan
Speaking of scaring the absolute crap out of her....(Best villain award goes to...)
She feared for her life, but it taught her that she had to stand up, to stand -for-.
The Tower
As a whole, because for good or ill, it was a HUGE driving force in her life. She would not be where she was, with the knowledge and strength she had gained, without that "rivalry that wasn't officially a rivalry". It may gall her to admit it (
) but she owes the Tower for that.
Roland Asen
He scared her. He caused ripples in her happy little life that he probably never could have predicted, and made her stronger for it. As Vivian-player said, she became a tired soccer mom, and a good part of that was because of Roland. I'm not convinced it's a -bad- change. Just a change.
Vivian LeChaunce
THE EVIL WITCH! Lyssa actually pitied her. She wanted to help her be better, and when she was around Vivi (and, y'know, actually KNEW it), she enjoyed the company, but there was no helping there, at least not for Lyssa. She'll always feel she could have done more.
Rannos Susidian
The boy-king, the happy-go-lucky knight who she fell in love with, the lord she married and whose children she bore. He taught her a new kind of loss, a new kind of pain, and several new kinds of joy. She can never regret that, and will always treasure the best memories as what made her a happy mother, and a stronger fighter, and a more mature woman.
Paush
Man...just f*** you. LOL
All in all I consider myself blessed to have met and interact with so many people, who formed this goofy, bubbly sorceress into what she is now. She's content, her tale has had ups, and downs, but they've about evened out, and in my mind, that's a good story. She'll be here, but it's important you guys know how much you affected her...and me. If I forgot you, speak up. You're not less important, my memory just sucks. <3
