Facepalm inducing spelling errors.

I was thinking of updating my character description today and as English isn't my native language, I decided to wisely use google to check.
That is also the reason why I only just realized, I've been using a rather silly (and humorous imo) mistake. Instead of writing 'whether' I always wrote 'wether' so apparently I have been talking about castrated rams in many conversations across the years.
Perhaps this thread could serve others who have similar mistake/stories they could share?

When I played Jacqueline Basile I used to spell candelabra as candelbra. Nobody ever corrected me.

I once on a male character claimed to be another guys consort rather then their consultant. Fairly in my defense it was 3am.

I used to (and sometimes still do) keep the default character description given to humans, but change "...in search of excitement" to "in search of excrement"
I guess that's a double faux pas, so kill me

Huh. I dreamed about this thread last night.
Most of my written English comes from my experience actually roleplaying, and there are many, many mistakes that I've made at the length of my amazing career. Some I remember vividly, specially because somebody bothered to actually correct me.
Planes instead of plans.
Inquir instead of inquire.
I mean, I still shoot typos like I get paid for it, but I divide them in three sorts:
1) Fast-writing typos. When you slam everything together and you leave characters out of place.
2) Wordsmithing typos. When 'craft' words and you wonder, "Would it be Dracocity or Dracosity?".
3) Genuine errors. When you can't remember if it was "resistance or resistence!, existance or existence", and so on.

That's worth a google image search.
Results are gold, but not forum appropriate.

Well, you are right TRM. The results are gold. Literally.
Gold candelabra. And all sorts of candelabra.
But nothing else.

I remember that name and RPing with her quite a lot, but it was surely a different username.

Every time I see this thread I look up at what Artos wrote and I chuckle again.
Keep bumping it up for me, please.

This is so true for me as well, but there's a 4th category.
4) Right Sound, Wrong word!(So close, but so far) When typing fast and ending up with Witch instead of Which, Piece instead of Peace, There instead of Their, etc.

To this day I still don't know if it's "Lloth" or "Lolth" or "Llolth"

I have two more.
5) Correction errors. When you go through the sentence and change a word in the middle and the structure of the sentence goes through the window.
6) Ninja word? When you are already thinking in the next sentence you are going to write and a word of what you were thinking murders one that was already written and replaces it without anybody noticing it, until you press enter.

I've been literally typing Kukuri for 15 years until about 2 months ago. No idea how I never noticed, nobody ever corrected me.
I also used to spell it Sandwhich until a few years ago too. I really thought it was Lloth too until about 4 years ago.
I'm sure all three of these errors come from me seeing an original misspelling somewhere. Even typing too fast typos might be cases where YOU know better, but think of those around you, they might end up spelling it wrong because you did for the rest of their lives.
Think of the children.

I used to have a character that pronounced Impercepter as Impreceptor. I did it once as a typo and though it IC to have him mispronounce it all the time.

As I understand, "Lloth" is not strictly wrong. Rather it is a regional variant on the standard "Lolth".
