So there's been a great effort while I've been gone, from active and returning to DMs, to tech support and general development work. Today was a case in point that really illustrates how lucky we are. Mithreas, Midnight, Symphony (among others) stepped up to get us out of a technical scrape, and did so both professionally and quickly. This has been what could have been several days works condensed into a few hours to get us up and running again.

It's not fun, it's not paid and I'm deeply appreciative of the active and capable team we have working on this server. (also feel compelled to kudo them before I get back to the normal routine of contantly bothering them all for support and hard work)

Feels good to be back, and I think a minor crisis is just what I needed as I got back into the saddle.

Whatever magic they worked, I only lost a grand total of 700 or so xp. This I can live with. I was totally expecting to log back on and be missing diamonds and emeralds among other things.

I hope that their crazy voodoo has caused my character to have mutated so that he grows an extra toe and that cows every so often call out as one passes by "moo, I say"!

But in all seriousness, my thanks too to all the admins, devs, DMs, etc. Excellent job to all of you for taking so much time and effort to do all of this.
