I know, most of you guys think at least two people in that title do nothing but PvP. I mean, it's kinda true, but not in a bad way! I've enjoyed my interactions with their characters and my time with them OOCly. They never metagame or mix IC and OOC, truly remarkable people behind the screen.
All41-> I didn't get the pleasure of RPing with the Warlord himself much, but what I did get was amazing! I've also heard pretty cool stories about what he did and his character development. The free Xanal'ress lessons from Kren'fries was nice too. The player himself is the real enjoyment. I've never heard him get upset over IC things or anything, really. Always cool and quick to make jokes, very friendly. I think he's a great asset to the community and any new players that find Arelith just because of how helpful and nice he is.
Barradoor-> This guy is truly outstanding at helping you level, making parties to include you and anyone else who needs help. His characters are so diverse too! It's a bit surprising because he's played so many, being the experienced roleplayer he is. I loved RPing with them, especially when it was me getting beaten up in PvP XD There was actual RP to go with it and it was story driven. Plus, he's not a sore winner, which is rare and always a welcome sight. A bit trollish, but it's all in good fun. He's definitely made me laugh a lot with his antics and memes, but he's also someone you can go to when you're feeling down or you're tired of the OOC toxicity. He handles things maturely and with grace, always knowing just what to say.
Catchup-> One of my favorite roleplayers. Even when he doesn't like a character (one he plays) he continues RPing as if he could do it all day. They're never boring, either, always mixed with mystery and intrigue. He makes you work for that background story, and by golly is it worth it. The RP can range between 63 black and rainbows and butterflies (looking at you, Barrowhome). One thing I love about the player is how is also just so incredibly friendly. His characters have their own story, sure, but he's always happy to help others make/build theirs and contribute to roleplay. He's a real gem. Even if you get upset, he's calm and collected, more than willing to work with you on IC things. As much time and effort as he puts into his characters, he's also not overly attached to them. He'll kill them off without a moments hesitation if the story calls for it. Very admirable.
Susitsu-> Man, I've RP'd with this guy more than anyone else in the five/six months I've played Arelith/NWN. I actually know him for his RP and OOC helpfulness more than his PvP. What I really like about him is that he's willing to work with you on how you want to fight. It's not just PVP SMASH, he'll do roll rp with you or even, his specialty, just roleplay fighting, a go with the flow kinda method. Not only that, but he also fuels other's roleplay. He'll go so far as to put his character in the dark just so yours can take his place and be involved. All of his characters are unique, and not just amidst his collection, but in Arelith itself, or even in general. Amraphensbane is by far my favorite character I've encountered, as fun as the others are. It's interesting how his core stays the same, but the surface can be manipulated by the smallest things or RP sessions. He rolls with it too. No matter what plans he had for his character or yours, when things change, he rolls with it and already has two or three back up plans. Sometimes it's even improv, he just pulls it off so marvelously, it's hard to tell. He's definitely someone a new person should meet, extremely helpful OOCly. Not only that, but his RP is something to be cherished, once you're apart of it. Always a pleasure!
Prestige-> "Our Lord and PKer." He's been the origin of many a meme and the kindle to many a flame, but he's actually a really chill dude. Yeah, he likes to PvP a lot, but who doesn't? The best part is, he's not a sore winner either. He's more than willing (sometimes borederline NEEDING) to help you with your build or skill in PvP. Like Barradoor, he wants everyone to have fun with a build they enjoy and learn things in PvP. The main part of that is have fun in PvP. He doesn't want to use build power or knowledge just to lord it over you, he legit wants everyone to have fun and not just PvP it out. He wants people to come up with other solutions to dealing with people instead of just, "I'm going to kill you because I'm evil and I can." His characters are so well thought out, with different personas and even sexualities! The detail he goes into is incredible! He's one of the best writers I've encountered too. He pushes out paragraphs like a champ and the RP enthralls me, makes me want to become a better writer. I know he's helped several people out with their writing or descriptions, another testament to how friendly and helpful he is. There's a person behind the PK memes, and he's a really cool guy.
All of these dudes are amazing and really helped make my Arelith experience enjoyable, the short time I played it. I recommend each and every one of them for new people to get acquainted with, for RP, NWN mechanics, build/pvp help, or anything, really. Veterans too! I think you guys would quickly find that these people are a treat to interact with, ICly and OOCly.
