How does the spell school limitation of classes like True Flame and Shadow Mage interact with spells from other classes? Say, were I a bleeding masochist and did I hurt myself with a True Flame/Cleric, would the spells from Cleric in the spell schools forbidden to True Flame become available to me due to the different spell book? Is there a distinction between Arcane and Divine casting in terms of spell school limitation, or does it apply across the board regardless?

So far as I understand, a True Flame cannot use ANY non-Evocation spells, be it from item or different caster spell book, but I want to verify this. Does the same restriction exist for Shadow Mage trying to cast Evocation spells from items or different spell books?

It depends.

True flame can only use EVO spells (from any source) and Mundane Items
Shadow Weave cannot use EVO spells (from any source) except for darkness

Other path limitations by school may vary from path to path depending on why/what wants to happen.

So, you are resolute that were I to make the True Flame/Cleric, I wouldn't be able to cast Cleric spells, bar those in Evocation?

I'm 99% sure, yes. It blocks anything not in Evocation school - and things like cleric healing is part of Conjuration - so that gets blocked. (And why you have to use healing kits/potions marked with mundane).
