OK, as many of you have noticed, LW has taken up a lot of the routine admin tasks while I've been travelling. Recently, alongside the usual list of character restores etc, she dealt with something that most of you didn't notice...

We had a bored player the other day who decided to trash a bunch of fixtures as their way of resigning from the server with a statement. Several of you noticed it, and we fixed it up quickly. However, the player also broke into a lot of quarters and robbed the chests there of any RP-value items they could find - custom books, items with RP descriptions etc - representing probably hundreds of hours of player work in total.

LW used our logs and backups to work out who was affected and restore the items, before more than a handful of you had even realised something was wrong. I wanted to recognise that and let you all know what she did for you

I witnessed some of the ordeal and was even affected by it.

I am terribly happy it's been dealt with and with such swiftness the destroyed player work restored.

That's great, especially as I know just what a huge undertaking that is!

Lifting the veil every now and then, to reveal just how much work goes into maintaining the server is no bad thing. Kudos indeed.

LW is pretty much awesome all around -AND- an awesome RPer to boot.
