Yeah, I'll jump on this one. The player of Caige Ridre is insanely dedicated and reliable. His store is practically an Arelith landmark.

I gotta agree with Baron. Caige's shop really is a landmark.

Caige is great, and Pierce and him had an entirely one sided arc of intense competition into budding friendship. I don't think Caige's player (or the PC) realizes just how much work he fueled into the Hoarrans just by existing.

i'd name a street in Cordor after him!

Once, when I had just started playing on the server, I was passing by that crafting area next to the Cordor bank, when I decided to find out what "Handle Fixture" meant. I clicked on the nearby forge and then on the 'handle fixture' dialogue button. By my surprise, I picked it up and, still being a noob, I had no idea how to put the forge back in its place (I still don't know to do it, btw). As much as I tried, I couldn't fit it back into its corner against the bank building.

Hours of total misery passed and no one helped me but Fe'dath, who appeared from nowhere and helped me place the forge back in its place for me. Also, I kept "Fe'dath helped me fix the forge" for a long time on my journal, because that was something I didn't want to forget, and ever since I've wanted to repay the favor.

And what the hell does this have to do with this kudos thread? Well, the forge was owned by Caige, thought he was going to kill me if he found out what happened with his forge.

Sooo I will definitely join in here. I was a brand new player to the server but also to NWN and I was playing an archer and in dire need of some better arrows and searching the stores of cordor, when I happened upon a friendly blacksmith Mister Ridre gave me a lesson in making arrows and showed me where to get the wood and everything. I was soooo thankful and the gibberling and rat population didn't know what hit them. I also have to say a huge thank you to the player for all his help. You are awesome!!

My first interaction with Caige was way back on Ker'uanna. We bumped into each other leveling in the crags outside Guldo. She did not speak common and Caige did not speak elven. We somehow ended up traveling together from time to time. He was great then, and continued to be great forever... He has become a living legend.
