Dates on Notes

Is it possible to be able to sign a note without the date being put on?
maybe something like
:Finnish note in name without date
:Finnish note anonymous without date
It never made sense to me, why every single person would make a note with hour, day, month and year on it, especially not those that sign anonymously.
I does make sense for officials to do that but who else would do it?
furthermore i believe it would give a better feel to notes that are made to look old, like someone is trying to make a journal from a certain time in the world, but cant because of the time and date that automaticly comes with notes.
