Definitely liking the new examine tweaks - being able to tell races apart and be able to see how much gold stuff is worth is great!

Personally, I am a very big fan of the new examination tweaks. Makes it alot more easy to distinguish what races people are, when they have forgot to write it into their description.
Also a big fan of seeing the gold value, as it makes it easier to calculate the value of your character before you roll your character.

What we need now is a way of telling On Examine how much gold their loose items are worth, of course...

The second round seems very good. I think the only suggestion I might make is to add Dwarves to that ranger/elf clause - make it so Elves can ID Drow and Dwarves can ID Duergar.
