Lissa Whitehorn

Lissa Whitehorn has returned home to Lantan. Thanks to everyone that made Lissa a lot of fun to play. It was really cool being able to get creative with her and her artificing abilities and I’m thankful that so many people let me run with that kind of thing. Sometimes it could be a lot of work keeping up with everyone, so I’m sorry if I let thing drop/forgot about them—it was never done with malice.
So more specific thanks.
The Arcane Tower:
Just an amazing group of players. I had a lot of fun playing here and they always made me feel welcome, even if I disappeared for a few months to be mayor of Bendir and stuff. Jacob, Angela, Jadoth, Paddy, Erin, Bhando, Jasper, Astra, Thulk and others will all be remembered fondly.
I’m really happy to help shape the Tower over the last 3 months and I hope I left it better than when I entered.
The gnomes:
The gnomes were an interesting group. I’ve played a lot of gnomes in NWN, but nowhere else have I seen these kinds of numbers that made it actually feel like gnomes were more than just a joke. Terto, Dylo, Lorina, and Smith being the most influential in her life.
Lissa and Terto had a strange relationship. One that is best described by keeping dangerous people close to making sure one can keep an eye on them. Not everyone saw things that way and it ended up going causing more than a few kerfuffles.
The Halflings:
Lissa had a very difficult relationship with Halflings, more so than anyone else. From Buppi to Andy to Alex to Kera, each of them had both major positives and major negatives to her development. It was quite a bumpy road.
That said, one of Lissa’s best friends was a halfling, Katie, who I enjoyed quite a lot. She was one of the major influences for her to see more than just what was on the surface
Dwarves:
Lissa never had a good relationship with the dwarves, which the exception of Garmr and Falgrim. Those two always gave her hope!
Others:
Alara and Akira were two characters that Lissa enjoyed quite a lot. It was a shame that we travelled in very different circles and never got enough time to spend together, but the small times were always the best.
Snow and Lacroix were two of the earlier characters that Lissa was involved with and they always maintained a close friendship.
DM Titania: Nothing developed her character more than the Spriggan event. Lissa went from optimistic and naive to something much more pragmatic and deceptive. It was a shift for survival, which gave me so much more to explore with the character.
Sorry if I missed anyone (I did) but there are just so many over the past (almost) year. Thanks again to everyone who helped shape her!
