Hello, player of Matar here and I really need to give a big thank you and shout out to some seriously great people here.
First and foremost: Lobelia. When I first came to the server now that it's on nwn:ee I spent about 2-4 days just being ignored by people as they rushed about and ignored whatever rp I tried to start with them(note: I am not blaming anyone, I was probably too timid and shy to get anyone's attention). It was making my playtime here really boring and I was thinking of quitting again. Then lo and behold the hin in shining armor rides in and drags me into some seriously awesome role play. We were going to do a tour of bendir together then some serious stuff went down and suddenly I found myself embroiled in some awesome Hawk'in role play and it's all thanks to her. So once again, Thanks Lobelia for being real awesome and treating this newbie great.
Second: The entirety of the Hawk'in force. Too many names and way weird spellings for me to write them all out, but you guys are all great fun to role play with.
third: Tabitha. I've already mentioned this to you directly, but all your actions as mayor has led to some of my most memorable role playing in my time on nwn ever, not just this server. While we haven't role played directly together much, your actions are felt even by little hawk'in recruits like myself.
And finally: Dm Wish. You ran an awesome event today and it happened to coincide with a lack of Hawk'in on leading to Matar having to pretty much single handily rally a group(there were a few voices backing him, but there was also a lot of people trying to stop it as well). It started out with me ooc'ly fearing I'm about to have to run into an epic level dungeon by myself, and ended with a giant horde of an army charging into the face of evil to save our commander. While I didn't get to participate in the rescue itself, I got confused and teleported to the wrong way point, it still made me feel like I was part of something in the game. Like my characters actions had meaning in the game. Super great feeling.
I'm looking forward to much more role play with all of you guys, and look forward to what will happen to the poor paladin of Arvoreen who just wants his people to be safe.
