I'd like to see smiths being able to forge bracers from the different metals, similar to armors. (bronze, iron, steel, mithrill, adamantine)
And make them work in synergy with your armour, or a basic protection for those who can't wear it. Maybe make the bracers increase physical immunities by a little percentage, or make it give 1 to 5 points of physical resistance.

I don't see a reason why this isn't a thing already with 5/- essences.
Could make adamantine give 3/- to pierce slash blunt and the lesser materials linearly weaker.

I'd definitely be happy to see some combat themed metal bracers added to the recipes. Personally I like the idea of them granting weapon skills.
