I'm sure we've all seen that meme about,
"Is that snake poisonous?"
"No."
*gets stung and dies*
"But it is venomous."

With that said, would we be able to change the mechanical names of weapon coated "poisons" to venom whereas the edible ones are kept as poison?

I think people understand this, no need for us to get pedantic on the exact terminology. Rejected.
