Surface Races Suggestions

There are plenty of interesting UD award races, but essentially no interesting surface ones now that fey have been removed to a major award. We have Forest Gnome which is really mechanically the same as a gnome with a wild elf benefit of no tracks/-track/rp and wild dwarf which is thankfully quite a bit different from a regular dwarf.
That's it.
Everything else is tied to major award which allows you to play essentially anything - why be an aasimar or fey if you could ask to play a half celestial or dryad or some such?
So to add some more race ideas:
Fetchling - a creature native to the shadow plane, looks like a very pale human

Half Elf base
+2 dex +2 cha -2 wis
Darkvision
Shadow Resistance: Cold resistance 5, Electric Resistance 5
1 use/day invisibility (shadow walk)
ECL +1 (comparable to duergar)
Aquatic elves - Elves that live beneath the sea

+2 Dexterity, +2 Intelligence, and –2 Constitution
Base Elven bonuses
Darkvision
Cold Resistant 5
Ability to use tridents, and feat for spears applies to tridents
Can breathe under water (for RP)

Firbolg - small giants, good hearted

+4 str, +2 int
Feats: deflect arrows, lightning reflexes
Low light vision
+2 natural AC
Oversized Weapons - act as if large for weapon wielding
At will: Can reduce their size to that of a human, or return to full size
Ability to throw rocks as a giant does
ECL +3
Shadowswyft - Similar idea to the Fetchling, although more elfen, they are still humanoid

Chaotic Only
+2 Dex, -2 Con
Darkvision: Shadowswyfts can see in the dark.
Base movement of 40.
Skill Affinity (Hide): +4 racial bonus to Hide checks.
Skill Affinity (Move Silently): +4 racial bonus to Move Silently checks.
Bonus Feat: Blooded: +2 racial bonus to Initiative and Spot checks.
Light Blindness: Same idea as for Drow
Outsider: Shadowswyfts are considered Outsiders for the purpose of spells.
